The Hysterical Segway City Tour is ideal for both those new to Sacramento and city residents. Imagine floating by Cesar Chavez Park and along the sidewalks of the State Capitol while hearing informative hysterical-historical information, and having exciting photo opportunities while your guide snaps a memorable picture of your Segway ride... all presented in the classic "Hysterical" style.
ONLY HELD DURING GOLD RUSH DAYS during Labor Day Weekend. The Old Sacramento Scavenger Hunt is a free historical walking tour for kids. We created it to serve as a working example of how parents can tap into the enormous educational potential of backyards, state parks, national parks, and other public lands. Gold Rush Days "turns back the clock," and transforms Sacramento's historic district into a scene straight out of the 1850s. Lots of people visit in period clothing, so it's always a surprise when actors emerge from the crowds to re-enact Wild West gun fights, play period instruments, and dispute gold claims.
WALKING SUMMER TOURS. Usually June through August. A fascinating and entertaining tour hosted by one of Sacramentos colorful characters from the past. The Sacramento City Tour captures the flavor of the 1850s and beyond through tales of miners, merchants, and politicians. The Sacramento City: California's Gold Rush Legacy Tour has something for everyone.
